A Night of Celebration & New Beginnings

Please join us for our NAWIC Boise General Meeting on Wednesday, September 2, as we celebrate an important evening for our chapter!

We will officially retire our 2025–2026 Board of Directors and proudly install our 2026–2027 Board of Directors.

This is a special opportunity to recognize and thank the women who have dedicated their time, energy, and leadership to NAWIC Boise over the past year, while also welcoming and supporting the new board as they step into their leadership roles.

Come celebrate the accomplishments of the past year, the friendships and connections we’ve built, and all that lies ahead for NAWIC Boise!

We would love to have our members, past leaders, and friends of NAWIC join us for this special evening.

Let’s come together to celebrate our past, welcome our future, and continue building a stronger NAWIC Boise!

NAWIC May General Meeting – Featured Speaker

Join us for our May NAWIC General Meeting as we welcome guest speaker Jeff Slinger, Board Chair of the ACE Mentor Program of Idaho.

Jeff will share insights into the ACE Mentor Program, a free, award-winning after-school initiative designed to introduce high school students to careers in architecture, construction, and engineering. Through hands-on learning and mentorship from industry professionals, the program helps students explore career pathways while building real-world skills and connections.

Since launching in Idaho, the program has been making an impact right here in the Treasure Valley by connecting students with local professionals for weekly sessions that include project-based learning, field experiences, and career exploration.

The ACE Mentor Program’s mission is to engage, excite, and enlighten students to pursue careers in the built environment, while also helping to develop a stronger, more diverse future workforce for our industry.

This is a great opportunity to learn how our industry can support and inspire the next generation—and how you or your company can get involved through mentoring, partnerships, or sponsorship.

We hope you’ll join us for this informative and inspiring presentation!

This meeting is open to all women working in or supporting the construction industry.

The program is open to all elementary school children in grades K-6. The competition involves the construction of various structures with interlocking blocks and three of the following items: a small rock, string, foil, and poster board.
