MAGIC Camp – "Mentor a Girl in Construction," one week only! AUGUST 23 - 26, 2010!
MAGIC is a one-week day camp where girls can make new friends with similar interests, discover their hidden talents, and explore some exciting non-traditional career options. Under the watchful eyes of NAWIC mentors, the girls will learn in a hands-on way the basic skills of carpentry, electrical, and masonry. Learning these skills while successfully completing construction projects builds confidence and self esteem. MAGIC camp is sponsored by NAWIC’s Boise Chapter #245 in partnership with Renaissance Magnet High School Professional Technical Education Center, and community sponsors.
